This guide is split into several sections including story and boss, collectables and exploration, portals, Endings, Misc, side quests and DLC. Only the one DLC(the ancient labyrinth) is required to earn achievements the rest in my opinion are pretty useless. I also recommend knocking off all your exploration of the maps before defeating the 8th boss(annihilator) as it can be annoying to be exploring after wards. There are no alternative options that you need to be concerned about. All of lords of the fallens achievements except for the endings and one new game plus achievement can be completed in the same play through. I recommend using this guide after completing or nearing the end of one play through. For this guide i will assume that readers either do not care about story or already know it so watch out for spoilers. These are the only enemies I've faced up to this point. This is a guide designed to help players fully complete this game and unlock all achievements. Don't bother blocking, their combo will break your guard (maybe if you have an ungodly amount of energy). bait out combo, circle, hit/backstab, repeat. Unarmored greatsword healing knights: straight forward when you find their pot that is healing them. Any tips for a melee user would be appreciated. I used prayer with mixed success, but to be honest, rage seemed to work well. Smaller archers: shield charging works really well, as well as backstabs/ jumping heavy attacks(forward hold run click heavy attack) fairly straight forward.įat archer: I've started using the jumping heavy attack then follow it up with one more normal attack then back off as he'll use a 2 hit melee combo. If you aren't using a greatsword/weapon, you just need to be more patient and wait for your moments to take a hit or two. If you use rage, you won't have to worry about their healing as your greatsword will do way more damage than they can heal. Get in close to them and circle around and swing away when they attack. Giant treant thing: Rage spell with a greatsword seem to work very well. Giant Spider thing: will update when I actually have the nerve to take one on and figure it out Parrying would work I think, but I haven't mastered it yet. Still haven't found a take zero damage method though. I use a heavy swing with a greatsword and time it so I hit them just as they're getting ready to hit me. Rhogar shield knights ( the huge ones with the massive shield): Impossible at first until you realize that they're most vulnerable when they are charging at you. If you time your swing correctly you can hit then when they charge at you. Other wise you can circle around them and wait for them to plant their shield down then backstab. You can shield charge then follow up if you have a quick weapon, but with a greatsword it's hard to get a hit and not receive on in return that way. Rhogar Knight (the smaller ones with a shield and sword): no perfect strategy yet I've found. Zombies/infected human things: two ways, either circle when they do their combo and backstab, or shield charge and hit. Beward, they've parried my attacks before lol I haven't mastered the parrying timing with these guys. Shield charge (running and holding your shield up button) also works but sends them flying away and actually makes it harder to follow up.Īssassin type (buckler and sword): shield charge works really well, as does baiting out their combo and backstabbing. Hounds/Dogs: When they charge just hold up your shield, they fall down, easy kill. Any tips on other enemies would be appreciated! This is for a melee build, but feel free to say how you've dealt with enemies. Thought I'd make a quick note on some enemies and how I've learned to deal with them.
